It will be 7 years ago today that I had my little brush with death. There are a few things that are still a bit fuzzy in the memory from all of it, but after this long, I figure they must not be important details.

I finished the project mentioned in my last journal, and I wanted to give it to a friend before I posted it here. I've all but lost contact with that person, though, and I don't even know if they still want it, so I posted it here.

It's been pretty quiet here for the most part. Aside from a couple of surprise messages from people I never expected to hear from, it's been pretty quiet here. People have come and gone since the last time I wrote anything here. Some were people I considered friends, that just disappeared from my life without a word of explaination. I've made some good friends recently, though, and I hope they will keep putting up with me for a while.

I've got the materials for a couple of ring projects, but no real ideas or inspirations. Seems that there's quite a trend of people disappearing when I make them things. 3 out of 4 just isn't very encouraging.

I appreciate those that take the time to read my ramblings here now and then. I'm lucky to have good friends on here to encourage me now and then, and good artists whose work never ceases to amaze me. I'm really thankful for sugar, caffeine, and alcohol. Who needs pesky emotions when you can fill the hole with those three heavenly substances?
